The Georgia Cannabis Trade Association (GA-CTA) was created by attorneys from Elarbee Thompson Sapp & Wilson. The founders bring to the association and extensive background in guiding businesses in labor and employment issues, immigration and litigation. Our backgrounds are geared toward helping business owners, both large and small, deal with the basic and complex issues of operation and compliance. The goal of the Georgia Cannabis Trade Association is to educate and to provide a forum to exchange ideas and strategies in this new area of commerce.
GA-CTA will provide regular programming dealing with business and legal topics and legislative analysis. Our hope is that our membership will utilize us as a resource for learning and growing their cannabis business.
The Georgia Cannabis Trade Association brings together top minds from the legal and the cannabis industries to provide information, resources and counsel. Current trends suggest that the national legalization of cannabis may occur in the next five years. Currently, cannabis continues to be heavily regulated by state agencies and other bureaucratic layers. Our most pressing goal is to inform and and to prepare businesses for entry and growth in this challenging environment.
